Anchor & Tide Collective was created from a simple feeling: the pull to slow down.
Inspired by coastal summers, road trips, handwritten notes, quiet afternoons, and the kind of little activities many of us remember from childhood, Anchor & Tide brings together nostalgic, screen-free goods designed to help you pause, make something with your hands, and enjoy the moment you’re in.
Our first collection, the 90s Nan Bag, was inspired by both of my Nans.
My late Nan B was part of so many road trips when I was growing up - and she always had a bag packed with snacks, little comforts, and whatever might be needed along the way. There was something about that bag that felt like care in its simplest form: practical, generous, and always ready for the next little adventure.
My Nan C is someone I’m still blessed to spend time with today, often gathered around a table with games, puzzles, and easy conversation. She reminds me that some of the best moments are the simplest ones - sitting together, passing the time, laughing, and being fully present.
The 90s Nan Bag was born from those memories: the packed bag, the road trip, the cabin, the puzzle on the table, the deck of cards nearby, and the little creative activities that make time feel slower and sweeter.
Each Anchor & Tide item is chosen with that same spirit in mind: practical, charming, nostalgic, and made for leisure.
